Questions at interview - reception class teacher

Calling all primary school teachers.

"interview" tomorrow for a reception place - kind of informal as far as interviews go. I work for a supply agency so this is a 'long' term booking (probably only one half term). The headteacher wants to meet me tomorrow, will ask interview questions etc - obviously no teaching or child-interaction though!

I graduated in July but wasn't planning on getting a full time, permanent job yet so haven't gotten myself in the mind frame of interviews and questions!

Tips and probable questions?!

I would ask you about the importance of outdoor learning, child initiated learning and what these would look like in your classroom. Also how you would assess the children using the observations you make and how you would use observations in your planning. Good luck.

Agree, the new framework and probably a working with parents and child protection questions too. Good luck - let us know how you get on.
