LSA interview questions - help!

Hi all,

I've got myself an interview at the school my kids go to where I have also been volunteering for the last 6 months to get my level 3 TA qualification. The teachers I work alongside think I'm great as do a couple of the SEN teachers I'll be working alongside if I got the new job. My confidence in myself doing what I do is not great but improving!

Anyway I've got a 20 minute observation in a class followed by an interview. The observation I'm no longer worried about because I've planned what I'm going to do so I'm ok with that.

What I'm worried about is the interview as its 3 years since my last one for the other job I currently do and that's not education related!
So.... I'm looking for possible questions that I may be asked so I can swot up on things I might say.

Be prepared to answer a question on child protection, and the school's policy.

Thanks, I've anticipated a CP question and will ask at school for copies of their policies to have a read through Smile

I would say something about working as part of a team & working under the direction of a teacher.
I have a couple of (older) LSAs who undermine NQTs/student teachers. Its a difficult balance to strike - being an experienced LSA working with someone who may be struggling.
Watching with interest as I have LSA interviews coming up!
