Ok, I'll try to keep this brief. Am currently senior management and have been on long term sick due to continual bullying from newly appointed head. She has successfully bullied all previous staff who have no resigned and brought her own people in. My union rep has said that I have a good case for grievance. I feel unable to continue and have no option for the sake of my health to resign. Have applied for 3 jobs (2 in senior management and one as class teacher) but failed to get them (in the 2 management vacancies it went to younger & cheaper candidates; the teaching one my nerves got the better of me). I feel I have lost my confidence and this is showing in my teaching at interviews despite preparing for them extensively. Will I ever teach again?! What can I do in the meantime to keep up my skill set / financially keep afloat. My mental health is deteriorating with the stress and I don't know which way to turn. Please help?!

Private tutoring ?
Get out though seriously. Nothing is worth making yourself ill for. Stick with the union and take the head to grievance if you can.
Good luck OP x
