Duvet VS litter tray

Hello, new poppet has arrived, 10 weeks, beautifully litter trained (thank you rescue centre!)

She knows where she's going, no problems with using it.

However, in the mornings when I am playing her and allowing her access to the other rooms whilst under supervision she has made a beeline for the bed, jumped on the duvet and wee'd, even if she has just used her Tray no more than 5 mins before for this.

I changed the bedding and duvet, put fresh clean bedding on so she didn't associate the smell and the next day, on opening the bedroom door, she bolted, dived for the bed, and.......

Is there anything I can do to prevent this? Ideally I'd like her to be able to sleep on my bed in the future!

My male does this,ash and shits!!
only in my DS room I have no idea why....but it's very annoying,only thing to stop him is refusing to let him in there.

One of mine did this as a kitten. No idea why but he outgrew it thankfully and can now be trusted with free access to the bedrooms. I'd probably take a urine sample to the vets just to be sure there wasn't anything going on, for the sake of what they cost.

Not easy but try preemptively being ready to grab her when she heads for the duvet and put her straight in a tray. Hopefully she'll associate the urge to go with being in the tray.

My last cat did this when she was a kitten. It was almost done just for effect, she always had an audience. It stopped after she was spayed I think.

Yup, I'm hoping it's just something she'll outgrow, she's been spayed, uses her tray really well, just loves the duvet!

Ah well, supervised access to remain for a while!
