The litter tray

Cat has eaten a Babybel, including wax casing.

I took off the wrapper, but not the wax coating, then realised I was going to be late for work, left the Babybel on the table in haste.

I arrived home to find three small pieces of chewed wax on the floor.

Cat is fine, judging by the litter tray and a spirited play session last night, but I never cease to be amazed at how greedy and determined they are!

Oneago thieved a whole large net of the things. Then destroyed and ate the lot on a pale fawn carpet! Grin

It was probably a very entertaining toy for him, plus he gets super fuss of mom all weekend while you watch for stomach upsets.

Cats. They get their instructions from the Mother Ship and sometimes the messages get garbled. Smile

She doesn't seem unduly perturbed, little sod.

We have spent the afternoon sofa bound and no sign of ill effects, so I think she's okay.

I had no idea that cats liked cheese until last night when I had friends over for cheese and wine and Puccini sauntered over to someone and swiped a chunk of Port Salu off their plate with his paw!!!!Shock

Adorable pic of your very own food tester relaxing after her labours. Mr C sends Respect.

Irrelevant but also cheesy: I've just bought a duvet cover to match Mr C. I picked the sofa thinking bright orange would set his fur off nicely, which it does. Also sets off marks from black trousers and jeans. Now I've gone for a sort of footballers-waife beige for the boudoir. Very good for picking up the caramel fudge bits of his tabby.

The dye in clothes is shocking these days. My mil has a cream sofa, scared to sit down half the time.

Excellent plan, match the house to the cat.

I had a toddler who did that - she was fine!

Harry wants to know why any cat would eat human food!

I too have a cat with weird tastes. This week she has eaten some pear and some cake. She regularly chews at a house plant and we can't leave vases of flowers around without her bending down a stalk and gnawing on it.

My dog did this, I had to manually extract the wax as it got stuck when he pooed it out. It was grim.

Harry likes Hagen Daazs, sea bass, salad cream and custard!

Not all together obviously!

MCat's been known to casually wander past and pick up a piece of chicken, that I was in 2 minds about whether I wanted to finish it or not. Also very delicately used a claw to remove the bread from a ham sarnie, and make off with the ham.

And re. cheese - don't ever leave a pot of Philadelphia unattended...

Little M's breeder told me "he's the greedy one" when he ate a piece of greasy pizza box.

They're now both a pair of fussy little fuckers floofs.

One of our childhood cats used to eat anything. Swag Bol was a favourite. She would scoop food off your plate with her paw. She once nicked a whole pie lid off my sister..we had to put her in another room in the end when we were eating! I'm very disappointed that my girls don't try the same thing though.

I've just realised I said in one post Harry doesn't eat human food and then listed what he will eat! Obviously he doesn't like human food apart from those!

We're getting rid of our cream sofas because they are now a bluey grey colour and look awful. We're going back to chocolate brown so it doesn't show! They won't match Harry but never mind!

Dame, EVERY blanket is now BertCat's blanket. But yes, that is her snuggle blanket. She won't sit on my lap without it.
