Hi,
Sunday morning my cat ate cat poo, I've phoned doctor, who said unless she's unwell like sickness, diarrhoea and fever, not to worry, but I feel terrible. It wasn't a huge amount and managed to wash most of it out of her mouth, it was quite sloppy, I'm so worried though, even though my doctor has reassured me.

I think kids eat all sorts they shouldn't. You got to her quickly & the dr isn't worried.

I'm just worried my cat may have passed an infection onto her, also the risk of toxomoplasmosis, but apparently the risk is low, I just feel awful.

The toxoplasmosis risk is really low so try not to agonise too much. Cats only shed it in their poo for a few weeks after infection, and even then it isn't shed until at least 24 hours after the cat poos. So the risk is very, very low and non existent if litter trays are cleaned daily.

The risk is of that is quite low from what I've read. Anything she swallowed got destroyed by her stomach acid.
