I'm looking for a hooded litter tray for two adult cats (well more than one but ykwim). I'm wanting cheap but effective. Main issue is spreading litter rather than smells.

I got this in green. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00L46GHTM/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1474042869&sr=1-2&pi=SX200_QL40&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21 Cheap and does the job. My cat didn't like the door though so we had to take it off.

I have this one Sturdy, and keeps smells contained.

If they're not used to using one with a door, remove it for a few weeks. They'll get the hang of it, especially if they use a catflap to go outside.

A specialised litter mat that goes in front of the tray helps A LOT with tracking litter about the house. I'd post a link, but I can't remember where I ordered it from. Zooplus most likely?

I got those mats from Zooplus, unfortunately one of them kept peeing on it!

I've just discovered The Worlds Best Cat Litter, and it's the best we've ever had! With 4 trays it's perfect and doesn't clump hard to the tray. Absolutely recommend it
