Just got advocate for fleas, is advantage different? I can see it's cheaper and still needs to be done once a month.

As far as I know Advantage only treats fleas but Advocate treats fleas and most worms. We use Advocate monthly and Profender 3 monthly to make sure all types of worm are covered.

We do same as pink. Doesn't Advocate also do ticks?

I don't think it kills ticks. I asked the vet and they recommended Frontline for ticks and Advocate and Profender for fleas and worms. We haven't used Frontline as we really don't want to dose him up on anything else.

Thank you. I was told by my vet that advocate does everything except tapeworm. I will check that but it does seem that advocate is best!
