An old friend is a vet and has set up an amazing practice - apparently staffed by Dr Doolittles, amazing customer service (for pets and owners alike), just fab. Have been delighted with them and recommended to others many times over. The practice has been really successful and a second branch recently opened much nearer to my home.
It's only been a couple of months but my experience at the new branch has not been great. Customer service isn't as good, information about drugs has been wrong/missing, and today I've been given totally the wrong prescription for my cat (the label on the package was right but the drugs contained within were not).
I have an elderly cat with cognitive disorders and hyperthyroidism hence seeing the vet fairly frequently. I don't want to appear churlish as these could well be teething problems but I am a bit concerned that the overall reputation could be damaged. I'm thinking about emailing the old friend to let them know - I don't want to be negative because I wish the practice all the best but I do think he should be aware. Would that be acceptable or would it just seem grouchy? I will be transferring care for my cat back to the original branch because I've lost faith in the new one unfortunately, but I don't want to sour relations with the practice. WWYD?
