The litter tray

Any vets? Kitten with blood in poo

Kitten had diarrhoea at 7 weeks just prior to first vaccinations. Vet wormed kitten and next day he poo'd out a long worm. He was on chicken, fish & scrambled egg diet for a week and all seemed well. Vet delayed vaccination for a week, at which point his diarrhoea had stopped and he'd put on 200g in weight. He's now due 2nd vaccination & 2nd worming tablet end of this week but has started to have a small amount of blood in his poo again, and slightly loose poo, over the last couple of days. Taken me until today to spot which kitten as we have a litter. Is this likely to be related to worms? He's well in himself, eating & drinking well, playing and running around like his siblings. just wondering if i should take him to vet tomorrow to investigate or as he's known to have had worms wait until Friday when he'll be wormed again.

I'd ring the vet tomorrow, you can't mess about with kittens.

I'd say it's likely to be worm-related, but to ring the vet tomorrow as Fluffy said - kittens can go downhill quickly if something is wrong.
