How much should I be feeding two 10 month old kittens?

The shelter said she used to feed them a quarter of a can of butchers in a morning then another quarter at tea time but this doesn't seem like a lot for 2 cats!

Perhaps she meant a quarter of a tin each, twice a day? That's what my mog gets, but he's older now. You could always add some biscuits (there are grain-free biscuits if you wanted to go that way - Butcher's is grain-free) - they are at the teenage, big-eating stage of their lives.

I think kittens need little an often, that's what I did and now my cat's older he's more twice a day.

Mine are 9 months and get 3 pouches between them as well as as much dry food as they want.

When we go away, the cat sitter gives them 2x pouches twice a day between them.

Oh good. I've been feeding them applaws dry biscuits which they seem to love and then I've been giving them half a tin of wet food in a morning and the other half at dinner time. They never stop playing though so I'm sure they need more than that!

Most cats self regulate food-wise unless they have worms.

I leave unlimited Applaws dry out for them to graze on, and they get a can of Butchers between them for their supper.

Their vet says MCat's borderline plump (only in winter, mind), and Little Monsieur is a healthy weight for his breed.

• Forgot to add, they eat more than an adult cat as kittens, during the growing/very active phase. Little M would eat anything put in front of him when he was a kit, and try to steal our dinner. He's become more fussy now he's 2.

My cat would eat a whole tin to himself.

Our two are 10 months old, been with us 7 months now. They get one of those small mason cash bowls of dry (Royal Canin Kitten, soon to be switching to adult) a day, free fed, and a pouch of wet food between the two of them two or three times a day (morning, sometimes tea time if they are acting hungry - or shouting at us for it - but not if they are having a sleepy day, bedtime). Erwin is 4.5 kg and Genie is 3.5 kg. Vet is happy with their size.

They weigh 2.5kg each at the moment but they have their 2nd vaccinations on Saturday so will be helpful to speak to the vet. I've only had them for 2 days! I'm so glad I decided to get two, they're so amusing and adorable

We have two. A year next month. They have been eating pouches of wet food. Bloody loads. Every day. In the last month their eating has slowed right down. Growing less?

We were feeding ours 3 pouches each a day at that age! Now, they're down to two each a day. (Although our little female would like a lunchtime snackette as well!)
