The feeling of contentment

This may seem like a silly post but I'm sat here and I've just looked up from the laptop and all 3 of my beautiful kitties are in - all in their own little spaces sprawled out and fast asleep. It just made me smile. I feel so much more contented when all three are in - especially from the cold.

We don't have a flap at the minute so I'm having to get up and open the door for them to go out. They seem to love asking to go out at 4am. Sometimes it feels like having a new born again when I have to get up so early to let them out.

Not silly at all and I don't think there is anyone on this board who would disagree. I feel exactly the same when my two cats are in and I can see them all snuggled up and content. Just makes me feel all fuzzy and warm insideBlush I used to feel the same way about my DS when I used to look at him all tucked up snug as a bug in bed but now he's 16 and his bedroom smells like something has died in it I save that feeling for my fur babies Smile

I've gone to bed early tonight, just so I can have BertCat snuggled on my legs. That thing about cats reducing your blood pressure is spot on.

What a gorgeous cat and how clever to get one that matches perfectly with your duvet Smile

Ours definitely does not reduce blood pressure.
She trips us up on the stairs regularly.
She runs headfirst into closing doors.
She climbs on high cupboards and knocks things on my head.
She gets stuck in fences or bitten by next-door's cat and has expensive trips to the vet.

But she purrs like a good'un. All is forgiven.

Aww. I like Spongecat to be in too. She is one of my babies. Sad but true.

Agree. PreciousPussGirl snuggled on my lap, DD2 snuggled into my side, lovely. I don't even mind that HenryHugglemonster is on!
