Our cat, who has just turned one, has been waking us up at 5am every day this week. He jumps on our windowsill and claws the blind miaowing his head off, demanding we open it.
This is a new and unwelcome development after Christmas (we had lots of people staying and I think he got out of his routine). If we shut him out of the bedroom he attacks the door, making a complete racket.
DP says we can't train him out of it and we need to open the blind at 5am and put eye masks on. I think we can but not sure how? Do we ignore him or use a stern voice to indicate our displeasure?
