Hi folks

My cat loves to climb the curtains. I've tried most things and although she doesn't do it as much as she used to she still sometimes has a mad half hour and off she goes! I'm shortly getting blinds in one room and was wondering whether to get vertical blinds or roller blinds. Cat lovers.... Which do you think my cat would be LEAST likely to attempt to climb? X

Hello, I have 2 indoor cats who love to chase each other and play in the blinds. We have Venetian blinds at home which they have managed to break with all the running around. I would say either blind as any can get broken if left down but maybe you could have them rolled up during the day so she has less chance to climb? I would imagine Venetian blinds would be difficult to climb although I'm sure she will give it a good go Smile

Thanks for your reply. If I get roller blinds I plan to have them two thirds of the way up during the day. At night I would shut the living room door but she would just rip the carpet up in the hall trying to get in! She's not the easiest of cats really lol xx

Have you ever tried feliway? One of my cats is deaf hence why they are indoor and we are moving this week so I've ordered one to try and help settle them in to the new house. I've heard great things about it and I got it cheap on groupon as Its quite pricey in pet shops. Might help calm her down a bit....
