Hello

We are picking this beautiful little girl up from the rescue centre tomorrow morning. Went to meet her today and she is just perfect as a new cat for my parents who had to have their beloved puss PTS just before Christmas.

She is around 18 months old. Has anyone got any ideas for a name for her?

Thanks in advance Smile

What a beautiful face! She looks as if butter wouldn't melt but I bet she's a right little Tinker!

Um all end in y sound. No idea why!

They end in a y sound because thats nice to call out when calling them in from the garden.

Helsbels81 · 02/01/2016 16:44

Yes it will have to end in a y I think.

I even added that on to my cat's name when I call him in as we kept his original name when we re-homed him. I shout 'Ace-y' Grin

Polly is nice...

Holly is a Christmas name. Evie as it is near New Years.
Thought the ie ending was just me. Two syllables are good for calling in.

I like Silvie. She looks like a Silvie. Pretty girl!

So sweet! I like Pebbles or Scout. Or, sticking with the y sound ending - how about Bonnie.

Boots, especially as all her paws are white so she hasn't got any. Also follows on from Puss. She's lovely, looks like mine, his name is KitKat.

I think Betty and Silvie are front runners at the moment.

She was such a lovely cat, loved being picked up, handled and stroked. She was also so chilled out and un-fazed by my 4 year old. I can't wait to pick her up tomorrowSmile

Bonnie is lovely, but was taken by another gorgeous cat of ours, now sadly departed.

I've put it to the floor here and I've been offered Crystal and Pumpkin (I named our cat...)

Don't your parents have any ideas for names?

Report

Susie is nice but was a name of my childhood tabby cat.
