Awkward cat

One of ours is a real madam, won't do anything unless it's her idea. The other is more like a dog in cat form.

I made felted crocheted mats for the cats, one each I'm clearly a mad cat woman a couple of years ago.

One, the 'dog', likes her mat & sits on it whenever she's in the kitchen / breakfast room

The other has been huffy about the mat she's huffy anyway & has only sat on it if it's on my knee. Until today. She's suddenly decided she wants to sit on the mat because I've put it near the radiator, not on the chest where she likes to sit next to where the mat lives Hmm

It was crumpled up & parts of her were lolling onto the cold floor, so I moved her temporarily, in order to spread it out a bit - she growled at me, then settled back onto her mat Confused

She's doing you a big favour by actually sitting on it! (And must secretly quite like it.) Any of the cats I've known, faced by an unwelcome object, would have plotted to ensure that - for some reason - it had to be binned in fairly short order. Smile

She's so silly - it's really comfy but of course totally unacceptable until she decided she would sit on it. She also now collected up a selection of catnip mice & put them on the mat with her.

Furry little twerp Grin
