The litter tray

I was a day late with the flea treatment

DH (who is not a fan of the cats, particularly the Shitten) claims that he is being bitten. We had an infestation earlier this year. Please don't tell me that they will all come back after just one day of being late with the treatment.

I don't think fleas have calendars so a day shouldn't make much difference. What treatment do you use?

I use Advantage at the moment. I used Advocate in the past, but one of my cats reacted oddly to it (I can only assume it was that) - he was sick, and became hissy and growly for a couple of days, which is not like him. It says to use the treatment every four weeks, and I was a day late this month.

It will be totally fine. Maybe your DH has his own fleas? Wink

Grin

We have had all the windows open and I have noticed some midgy things flying around, so I think they are probably more likely to blame than my cats!

I'm currently 3 weeks late for RCat. I check every time I groom him and there's nothing there. I'll still do him within the next week though.

One day? Not a chance they'll re-infest.

I use it every month, same date every month. Which means they get it three days late or two days late, depending on the month. As a bonus they get it on the dot exactly once a year. Except for leap years.

Apparently the fleas can't tell the date though, because we've never had a problem.
