What exotic name can we call black and white cats so they dont get overlooked in the rescue centres?

I genuinely don't understand other people much, black and white cats are my absolute favourite and my old black and white girl is sitting purring away on my lap (and is the best cat in the world ever.....IMO)

I think in the USA they are known as Jellico cats, which sound a bit more exiting ! The one that look like postman pats cat Jess are Tuxedo cats !

When we had a bunch of tabby and black and white foster kittens we gave them a wide assortment of cutesy names but the one who was snapped up the instant he went on the website was the black one named (for reasons which seemed to make sense at the time) Gavin.

Based on that I'd go for eyecatchingly banal names like Dave or Ethel. Or possibly something with a strong pop culture resonance that no fan will be able to resist, like Luke, Leia, Han, Darth and Lando. I was very tempted to call our litter of 6 Rob, Bran, Rickon, Sansa, Arya and Jon Snow. Who could resist a black kitten called Jon Snow?
