Not seen cat all day

We got our new puppy two days ago and the cats are a little put out. We have two cats, brother and sister 10 months old. Girl cat seemed fine. Sniffing pup and generally hanging around. I slept downstairs with pup last night and girl cat slept on top of me. Boy cat is not impressed - hissing and spitting at pup, and walking around puffed up. But it's my lovely girl who isn't around. She's been gone since this morning and I know it's only a day, but she usually pops back throughout the day and spends the evening in the garden catching moths and bugs. Its most unlike her not to be around at all.
Not really looking for advise, just a bit of hand holding

Aww I'm sure she'll be back soon..most likely gone off in a strop but will come back when she's hungry..it's worrying tho

Agree with tango Dd got puppy 12+mnths ago. Theyre settling down now. One big happy family

She finally came back late last night. I think she got herself locked in somewhere because she has stayed very close to the house all day today. All three (cats and pup) fast asleep in the living room at the moment - so peace may soon be resumed.
