Hi Guys,

At what age do you worm kittens? I keep getting different answers when researching on the internet. I took in a pregnant stray (not much more than a kitten herself :(( ) that was hanging around my garden/house..(eating my cats food, well wolfing every last drop of food) - she gave birth 2 weeks ago and I've read that you start worming at two weeks. What do I use? Can I get something from a Pet store? My guys get advocated every month. I'm guessing you wouldn't advocate a nursing mum??

Also, when can I get the Mum spayed?

Many thanks for your time.

I think you need to ring a vets practice, mum can be spayed after the kittens are weaned but she must be in before that.

They ovulate after mating, so even if she isn't in heat she can still get pregnant.

I would ask the vet when to wean kittens, they will know best.
