And thought ooof.. he's heavy!
So I stood on the scales with him (then without him)

At 11 months of age he is now 19 pounds, of sheer solid Maine Coon! Given that MC keep growing and filling out until they are 2-3 yrs old I reckon he might match Morph who was around 22 pounds in his prime!

Ignore my dodgy hair...have cut my fringe since this morning's pic... but he IS fabulous! He's not as long bodied as Morph was but much more solid.. no fat, he's sheer stocky cat!

I kind of hope he keeps growing because he is an awesome beast of a boy!
(Even little girl Obie is 11 pounds, so we weighed the hitler cat Portia who came in at 6.5 ..bless her; small but perfectly formed!)

He was busy chasing bees in the garden so not pleased to be picked up!

So I picked up Obie today for a cuddle...

We have a cat that isn't any breed but obviously has many Maine Coon traits. He weighs around 20 pounds and loves to sit on me.

He's a beautiful golden color, complete with a ruf.pf, just like a lion.

Obie has a magnificent ruff..you can't see it in the pic as I'm squashing it! It is a little 'home cut' at the moment though as he has matted dreadfully in moult. Obie doesn't sit on me unless I'm in bed, but likes to lie behind my head on the sofa and pat me! He and his sister Ophie are still developing their personalities and are fabulous to watch. She's asleep on her blankie, next to me as I type :)

That's a lot of cat Medusa!

I love the way he's casually looking over your arm. Keeping an eye on those pesky bees.

My little bloke is 14 months, but tiny. You'd think he was still a kitten.

You can tell he's really pleased to picked up can't you?. Free weight training in the comfort of your own home.

Portias still the boss though isn't she?.

He is beautiful!
I think my dear girlcat was part Maine Coon (she was a rescue mog but very large & with a definite ruff!) But Obie is spectacular!.

Portia is definitely still the boss.. all 6.5 pounds of her Grin

Oddly she tolerates them better than she did Morph..she will let one of them at a time, sleep on the bed as long as they keep a respectful distance, but if she is eating ...they wait at a distance or get slapped! She slaps them at least once a day to maintain control! I feel a bit sorry for Ophie who is timid and sweet but generally Obie deserves it Grin

cozietoesie you know what- I wish I could!

I lost my lovely boy and 3 years ago. He was a beautiful siamese crossed with mog and we adored each other. Luckily we still have his sister Smile

He was a big,big extrovert Tom,so I have a massive soft spot for them.

medusa your cats are just lovely.
