I thought I'd show you our lovely (but tubby) new cat

She's come from my brother. Amazing timing, because we sadly had to put our dog down last week and this is softening the blow a tiny bit (although it's the tip of the iceberg, of course). We mentioned that we'd like to have a dog and cat together one day and SIL said that she needed to rehome her cat due to allergy.

Lovely girl - and she looks very much at home in the photo on the carpet.

She's beautiful! Reminds me a bit of our, slightly chubby, girl!

I wouldn't dare weigh her. She's only been here since yesterday and my brother said that every time she's picked up, she's put in a pet carrier, which she hates, so I'd probably come off worse!
