from my bed room

I have had 2 kits for 2 weeks and they have gone from being timid hissy things to be a joy - lovely purry funny things that make us all smile

Only they live in my bedroom - and seem reluctant to leave - which is fine as I am currently off work sick following surgery - however I go back a week Monday and will no longer be able to deal with being woken at 4am by fighting boys

They will come to the top of the stairs and also go into all the upstairs rooms but they wont come down

food and litter tray also in my room/my bathroom

They are 10 weeks old - I also have a 10 and 6 year old cat - 10 is a bit hissy with them but ignores them mainly - 6 ignores them all the time

how do I get them to run round the whole house and not just my bed and bed room?

Mine took a while to come down.. and would only venture if our older cat was out. Just give them time..or Dreamies... one step at a time down the stairs!
Oh and peacock feathers.. (I buy off ebay) Kittens cannot resist!

ohhhh peacock feather Grin

I have been tempting them with chicken and they have come down a couple of times tonight (well mainly black one has (Spock) - black and white (Olaf) is a little more scared and tends to sit on the stairs watching through the banisters

They do seem to be getting bolder but I will buy some feathers - thanks xx

One of mine (Obie) was bolder and hopped down the stairs after a week. His sister Ophie however cried pathetically from the top of the stairs for him to come back! It took another week of her yelling for him before she ventured down.. but she is currently flat out on the sofa opposite :)

I bought a batch of 20 peacock feathers and she has destroyed them! A gentle wiggle of one ensures HOURS of fun :)
