They're coming to do a home check next week!

She is about 7/8 months. She kind of picked us. She adored my dd's too. I'm so excited and very, very nervous too!!!

What stuff do we need to get for her? We've always had dogs in the past so this is a new adventure for us!

You can ask lots of questions when they do the Home Visit. You would need to ask what cat litter she is used to and what food she is eating.

Obviously a litter tray as she will need to be kept in for 3-4 weeks, and a cat carrier for bringing her home and vet trips.

Re keeping her in you will need to be very very careful especially with the DC. Make sure they know about checking where she is before opening any external doors.

Food and water bowls, and a scratching post. Lots of toys, ping pong balls etc.

Have a look into insurance, and find a vets and cattery.

She looks lovely.

Bowls for dry food, wet food and water.
Litter tray, litter and scoop
Warm bed (can be a cardboard box with blankets

YY don't go buying a really lovely posh bed-a box with a blanket is fine. Or she will sleep on the sofa, your bed etc.

Thank you :) she is just gorgeous isn't she. She came straight to me and settled in my arms. This might sound a bit weird but I felt such a connection with her.

When's the home visit? Might you have her by this time next week?

Any idea of how she came to be at the rescue?
