The litter tray

cat diarrhea

cat is 6mo, she's eating/drinking normally, behaving normally, playing, purring, no lethargy..etc, 100% perfectly normal, except she has diarrhea.

She's had it a few days, i've cut out the treats i just introduced in case its those, cleared her litter immediately/more often, stopped her from being able to get to any food or bowls of ours that get left on the side in the kitchen by washing them out/keeping them covered incase its lactose intolerance from managing to drink dregs or milk or yogurt..etc

But no improvement. Should i give it a couple more days over the weekend or give the vet a ring today?

I'd ring the vet today - especially it being Friday and all. (Diarrhoea for several days would make me edgy.) If they want to see her, maybe check with them what they might need in the way of stool samples because they could well want to test those.

Has she been wormed? I thought runs in cats could be down to worms?

i dont know if it was done very recently, but she has been wormed in the last 3 months, she's only 6mo old and she goes to see the vet once a month to get her claws clipped and her flea treatment done, she was only spayed last month and what i paid for (healthy pet club) does include her being wormed regularly too.

i called vet, popping her in this afternoon just before teatime.

Best of luck and let us know how she gets on.

just been seen, the vets given me some pro-bind to put in her food over the next couple of days, hopefully that will sort her out!
