we have had this kitten from 8 weeks, she is now 8 months, I have had cats as pets since I was a child but this one is absolutely disgusting with her toileting, her litter trays have been in the same places since day 1, they are scooped several times a day and cleaned out completely every other day, she does use them, but she also pees on everything. She pulls towels or clothing off the rail and pees on it, towels left on the side of bath to dry are dragged into the bath and peed and pooped on, gets in the ironing basket and pees all over the clean clothes, even the little step stool my dd uses to reach the sink is peed on even though the litter tray is right next to it in the bathroom. Im at my wits end with this kitten, my whole house smells like a litter tray, have taken her to the vets and she is in perfect health (was worried she had a bladder problem) but no it seems she is just a dirty kitty :( we have 2 litter trays one in the bathroom and one in the utility room, he has access to both rooms day and night. What to do? ..

my cat started doing this when my partner moved in with me. The vet said it was stress and prescribed a spray called feliway which has pheromones to calm cats down. It also comes in a plug in form. Could this be worth a try?
I'm not an expert on cats but I have read that some cats can get stressed and depressed quite easily.

Can I confirm - has she been neutered? And does she go outside or is she a house cat?
