Critter room adoption

I know a few people on here watch the kitten cam.

One of the latest litter, Peter, died at a few days old. His brothers and mum were adopted yesterday and someone 'adopted' peter, ie they donated the adoption fee to the shelter.

That was a thoroughly nice and generous thing to do wasn't it?

I thought so. There is speculation on the critter room chat though that a peter shaped cat poltergeist will be appearing.
