i had charlie the stray booked in for neutering last week and typical bloody cat he didnt come home so rebooked for this week, so the little monster came home ok yesterday limping !!! so no breakfast this morning took him into the vets and the reason hes bloody limping is cos hes been fighting and has a bite on his front leg, so instead of a nice easy neuter at £36 he has cost me £68 in anti Bs and metacam anti inflamatory liquid, and they cant neuter him because of it, so had to rebook that for two weeks time, right now charlie is not in my good books, or is the irresponsible person who didnt get him neutered and let him become a stray cat in the first place rant over

At least the neutering will help with the fighting in future.

Is he suitably penitent?

I'm sure they have a sixth sense and do these things on purpose!

I hope his leg heals and all goes well in a fortnight. Our newest boy (also a stray) had a retained testicle so his op ended up taking longer and costing more.
If I didn't have pets I'd actually have some disposable income!

cozie no he is fast asleep on the bathroom windowsill with a big contented smirk on his face lol if the little sod had come in for his breakfast last wednesday he would have been done last week and wouldnt have fought this week, in the last week he has aquired a chunk out of his ear as well so am deffo getting him done in two weeks time come hell or high water maybe third attempt lucky

lol thistle same here one of my older cats had this took him in for straight forward neuter and he ended up costing me double cos one pom pom hadnt dropped but 7 years later no regrets on that one,
