Ok so I'm lucky enough that none of my cats have ever needed to see a vet for injuries/illness.

My Kitten has two very sore weepy looking eyes, I have cleaned them with salt water & I'm going to take him to a vet tomorrow.

My problem is I don't get paid until the end of the month so have very limited funds , I was hoping somebody could help me by giving me a general idea of the cost so I know what I need

I have rabbits, not cats so not totally sure, but usually around £22 for the consultation and a few pounds for the medicine. Generally in the region of £26-32 all in. Hope your kittens eyes get better soon.

Your probably looking at around £35 for consultation and treatment ( eye drops ). I think it's a good idea if you have pets to put a bit of money back each week incase they need to go to the vet. 2 years ago I was posting on here after my cat was involved in a accident, we didn't have insurance and we had to decide if we could afford treatment, in the end it cost us £500 Sad.

We've had to take our cats in for upset tummies, it has been nothing both times, but for the appointment, an injection (just in case) and drops to prevent vomiting (which we haven't had to use), it was £50-60. We are based in London, which is why it could have been more.

I'd expect to pay £35ish for an infection in the midlands.
