Saw a lovely cat on rspca cardiff website, just missed out on her, as was reserved same day I enquirer, she has now become available again as didn't get on with the cat she was rehomed with, have asked if I can arrange home visit as desperate for new cat since losing mine in April, she is just what we're looking for, is this fate?

Best of luck. It will be important to them to get a good home for her this time around if she's been rejected by the last one. Poor lass.

Definitely, she seems like she has a great personality and we have lots of love to give, we don't have any other pets or children so all fuss would be on her which Is what she needs I think.

Not fate- it's just what happened. If she hadnt become available again would that have been fate aswell even though it wasnt the fate you wanted?

Yourebeing I don't think the OP was asking for an existential debate on whether there is such thing as fate (as of course there isn't), but rather was using the concept in a more 'poetic' sense to ask us to encourage her to adopt this cat.

OP, of course you should adopt her. Poor cat - having been stuck in a shelter, given a home and then plonked back in the shelter. How awful for her.

Op asked a question and i answered with my opinion. If she had asked should she get the cat i would have said yes. But she didnt.

yourebeing don't worry I knew there was bound to be someone who would have to spoil the feel of the thread/post. After all you can't please everyone and that I accept. However I do feel like if you can't say anything nice, then don't say anything at all regardless of opinion.

Umm- i didnt say anything that wasnt nice and it certainly was not out of bad intention that i posted! You asked a question about whether it was fate- i took that to be what you wanted an answer to and i gave you my answer. If that isnt what you were asking then fine but dont be surprised when you get answers to the actual question you asked. Otherwise just post the question you do want an answer to. Mind readers we are not.

It's great however it happened and please let us know what happens, Mrs Bradfield!

Well I have a home visit booked for Thursday, something else that make me think it is if not 'fate' then massively coincidental is that the rspca lady that is doing the home visit lives around the corner from me. Considering this to be good vibes so finger crossed and will update thurs.

Thanks all - knitted I was told she was an abandonment case - she is 18mo - 2 years old and not much is known about her, she has been returned twice 1st time after 2 days and other after a week, this is thought to be because she doesn't like other cats and was rehomed with older cats who weren't too pleased and then with another cat from the shelter who she didn't like either, I have no other cats so hopefully she will just be able to chill out in the day and be mega fussed over in the eves! Went to pets at home straight after and spent a fortune on beds and toys etc so she can play with them in the day, will put pic on profile now :)

Some cats really don't like other cats so she may be one of them. Good luck with her anyway.

She is gorgeous. She also has the look of a very feisty one. I reckon you better get used to that No 2 spot, MrsB.

So glad to hear the home visit went well and you'll be collecting her soon! She looks just like a gorgeous black faced tuxie I looked after recently in the sanctuary where I volunteer, right down to the tiny white spot on the chin!
