My neighbours' cat seems to like my house and wants to move in. I try to dissuade him but he's very friendly and since they got another dog - they now have 2, he tries to be friendly.

He brings me occasional presents and today after I'd gone into the garden to feed the fish he snuck in with a huge killed rat.

My own cat was staring at it like "huh?!" - at 16 I think she's a tad too old to hunt now. and she doesn't go out much.

question is how do I stop him? killing etc? he leaves stuff outside too. baby rats etc. not all the time but a bit. why can't he bring them (which I'm sure he does) to his own parents house.

It's a signal of his regard for you!

(There's nothing you can do about it.)

Bastard! it's not moving in...

have tried petting him, am loathe to yell at him.

he seems to be minder for my cat and gardens which is handy in a way... as it keeps other cats away.
