Do you think a rescue would want a single and double duvet?

The cats slept on the single one but I can wash that one.

I'm not sure if they'd be worried about cross infection?.

If it's (they're) washed and dried properly, I would have though it OK, Fluffy. Some posters work for rescue groups so maybe they can opine - but maybe give your local one a phone?

We wouldn't. We want towels, sheets and blankets, but not duvets.

Now towels is an interesting one because I have a bunch which I was thinking of giving to the charity shop. I take it all they need is to be clean and dry?

Oh bugger, I threw old bedding out yesterday.

I have some fleecy blankets they could have and a duvet cover.

Well if Seniorboy is anything to go by, fleecy blankets would be a real treat - they'll wash and dry up a storm in this weather as well.

the rescue i work at will take towels as they go under blankets, and are good for foster moms when they give birth ,they will take blankets round about 1-2feet square but dont take duvets as they are too big and would be too difficult to wash as a duvet is one item in a washing machine so would cost too much to keep washing,
