My cat is not well

He is 5 and is not himself at all. His ears and paws are cold, is that normal?

He's not eating or drinking much and is sleeping far more than usual.

I tried to pick him up but he yowled and went for me. He's not usually like that but I'm not sure if its because his tummy is sore or because he's grumpy as he's not feeling well.

I'm debating taking him to the OOH vet, would that be an over reaction?

He doesn't sound right, but thinking it through what can the ooh vet do at this time of night?
Can you go tomorrow first thing instead?
I'd be equally worried as you, but how long has he been like this?

He wasn't "right" yesterday, nothing specific but was eating and drinking.

I have seen him nibble on some biscuit once today and take a few laps of water, that was about lunchtime.

Since then he's just been lying down sleeping. His eyes look odd, not the pupils, but they look kind of heavy.

Thinking about it he had a bit of a runny nose yesterday.

At the moment he's curled up on the sofa with a blanket over him.

I love him to bits and I don't want him to suffer - OOH vets is a ten minute drive away, so could get there quickly if needed.

What should I look out for?

I'm planning to stay on the sofa with him for the night

How is he today? Has he been to the vet?
