After her going AWOL about a week after our kittens arrived she had turned up again 7 weeks later, yowling like a good 'un outside the front door. She still hates the kittens, and has started hissing at the dog (new development) but has eaten and slept in my bedroom most of the night.

I suspect she has been hiding out and getting food and cuddles in another house. She is a nomad and arrived with us originally in a similarly mysterious fashion. I don;t know if we can call her 'our' cat anymore but at least she is OK. Was worried she had been hurt or run over.

But if she has adopted another owner I wish they'd pay for her damned innoculations ! Wink

Maybe they do, you wouldnt know! she might be the most immune cat in the village.

She seems able to take care of herself and find new owners.

She might indeed! She is certainly as fat as she was when she left so she must be getting food at least.
