Poorly cat?

My cat seems all out of sorts but is still eating. She is 5 yrs old and has been spayed. She is very lethargic and wheezes a lot. I feel I should take her to the vet tomorrow...or rtaher my husband as he is off and I am working. Is this enough to go to the vet or do thoe out there who are 'experts' think she will be ok? I have never had to take her to the vets before, other than injections and being spayed.

if shes wheezing and lethargic it sounds like she has a chest infection so yes would suggest a trip to the vets will be a simple anti biotic jab or tablets

Morning. Our cat had those symptoms once. We took her to the vets and she had a huge long piece of grass stuck in her throat. Good luck, hope i's something simple like that.

She had a high temperature and the vet wasnt really sure of a diagnosis. She had 2 injections and starts antibiotic drops tomorrow. She was most put out at the thermometer!!
She must have felt better this morning as she chased a mouse behind an old paving stone and sat for 3 hrs hoping for it to pop out!
She is sleepy now and is asleep on my sons bed and has been for 3 hrs!

Sounds like it's nothing serious then. Smile

No but I was glad they took her to the vet to be on the safe side!

Yes, definitely. It's always better to get them checked in case it gets worse. If only they could talk and tell us what's wrong. Smile
