The litter tray

Adult rescue cats...how long is it normal for them to settle in?

I ask because in the early Summer last year we adopted 2 Siamese brothers aged 6..they hid for a week and slowly accepted us. Now in the last 2 weeks they seem to have settled in even more...they were very friendly and loving anyway but they are both suddenly lavishing us with affection!

Is it possible they've now totally settled in? After 8 months?

I got both of mine as kittens - but it took about 6 months for my Siamese to fully adjust to the new kitten, so 8 months doesn't seem that long considering, to settle with a new house and new people rather than the same house and people with just a tiny kitten added in, lol

Aw bless them! I do love them so much. Dear little things they are...well...dear, long things they are! Nobody told me how LONG Siamese are! Grin

Lol, they are, I suppose, long and leggy and pointy...

I really like watching mine, she looks so poised and delicate - she's not at all, but she looks it, rofl

Mine look elegant too but are hugely clumsy....
