Cat has been keeping on for food, yesterday it was violently sick, gave it a tiny amount of dry food at bed time and it was sick again in the night, when i was cleaning up i saw what may have been a worm (was quite long and white). The cat is wormed using the tablets from the vet (have just wormed it again but not sure if he will keep it down), now i am panicking that we might have worms (me and the dc's), i have just wormed the dog (who seems to be ok), should i worm all of us?

AFAIK, you can't catch worms from animals likes cats and dogs.
I have no experience of what you describe so I would phone the vet for guidance.

I caught worms at 16 and the dr said it was the cats because I kiss them (still do at 34).

She was a shite dr though.

Was told by my vet (just after i got our dog) that its important to keep up with worming and use the best treatments as its easily passed on and even more easy to be passed on to the children, so 'yes' it can be caught from cats and dogs.

Fluffy- i kiss my cat and it often licks me (although i try to push it away), it will also be sneeky and try and eat dd1's breakfast Grin.

Every day is a school one on MN. Luckily for me I don't like my shittens enough to kiss them.

Relieved I'm not the only pet kisser.

1 of ours bunts your face, kisses and sleeps under the duvet! He has roundworm and they can be easily caught but most humans have a resistance to the worms.
