crazy cat noises last night....

was in bed asleep to be woken up by mad noises coming i thought from our (lady) cat. after about 1/2 hr i got up and was greeted with out cat sitting quietly in the hall under the open window where i could hear this mad howling screams - i am guessing it was a male cat that could smell her (she has been done, does she still give off a hormonal come and get me type scent?). it was madness - does having a female cat mean all the men in town come and pay her a vistit? she can't go out at night as we don't have a cat flap and prefer her in at night

Has she been neutered? If not, expect many yowling tomcats in your garden and a litter of kittens in a few weeks.

that's ok! she went for a cat that was sitting on our windowsil earlier. poor sod, a nice(ish) tom cat who used to pop into us, he doesn't know what's hit him. never seen her like that before, mind you, we have only had her two weeks...she can look out for herself, guess that comes from living rough in hackney east london for 7 weeks :)
