Hi all.
I am definitely a dog person, but have always had cats as well. I love cats, but am not keen on kittens, my cats have always been rescues. I stupidly fell for the sob story became aware of an abandoned feral kitten my colleague picked up a few weeks ago, and somehow agreed to give her a home.
Long story short, as a little scrap of life, she got cat flu. She wasn't supposed to live. She was abandoned at 4 weeks old by her mum, was hand reared by my colleague then got cat flu at 5 weeks. She was literally the size of a hamster when I saw her.
So on to the good news
She is now 7 weeks, she has a name (Elsie! ) is free of snot and eye discharge and I get to take her home in a week as she ate her way through her cat flu and has put on weight!
She just needs to be introduced to my 6 month old lab nd 18 yo cat now
