Cleaning paws after walks

Hi - sorry me again.

Any good techniques for cleaning paws after a walk? Our back door comes into the kitchen directly and it's hard to clean her paws. Are there any special mats for this or any good techniques? I thought about leaving newspaper out each time we go.

It's an easy floor to clean so not a big deal but thought you may have some tips for me.

Thanks!

I come in and out of the front door and keep some baby wipes and a towel to do paws

We have a turtle mat by the back door and have taught our dog to spin in circles (both ways) on the mat when he comes in from the garden which gets his paws pretty clean

Lots of old towels. We go through 2 towels a day during winter/wet months. Washing machine/tumble drier on for dog towels only every 2-3 days.

I wipe my dogs paws with either a towel or some doggy anti bac wipes. She's happy to lie still while I do it too - bless her!

Another one here who has a towel and baby wipes (Aldi) next to the front door.
It's part of Ddog's ritual that he will move no further than the front doormat until his paws have been cleaned.

Has his own towel by the back door (our old beach towels). A dirt catcher mat as well.

We do "on the mat" for wiping of paws then he gets a biscuit for being so good.

Down side to this is when I'm away he has trained my mum to let him out to the garden frequently so he gets more biscuits.

Very dirty walks he gets swilled legs and underneath, he's a Westie so low to ground.

We go through lots of towels.
