Can anyone help me please?

We got our lovely rescue dog a few days ago, she was flead at the centre 2 weeks ago.
Yesterday I combed her and just dust came out (can't bathe her yet as she's not long had an op) but today when I combed her about 6 fleas came out.. ALIVE!!

I've been to get all kinds of sprays for the home etc, but does anyone know why she's got fleas only 2 weeks after being treated?

You need to get something prescribed by a vet , generally over the counter stuff doesn't work .

We first used Advocate on our pup and it didn't work, still found live fleas. Bravecto seems to have worked so far, touch wood, and we used Indorex spray throughout the house. Also hoovered and mopped, and washed all the bedding and doggy stuff. Good luck, I was quite in dispair about it as pup was scratching a lot and I hated seeing them moving over her tummy. Also made me feel itchy and unclean, and am dreading them coming back.

I'm the same sparklywine I feel really itchy and unclean it's horrible.
I've sprayed everywhere and cleaned like a woman possessed!
I'm only finding 1 every time I use the flea comb on her, hopefully they are dying off. Disgusting things!

It's a really good year for fleas. Sadly we had our elderly dog put down about a month ago, and in the last few day she had fleas, and she had never had fleas before. And the fleas are still here. We have sprayed the whole house, didn't work, so we got a pest control company in, and they are still here (thankfully the company provides a guarantee, so they will be back for another treatment next week). The pest control company say they have never been busier.

Presumably your dog got fleas to weeks after treatment because the flea life cycle wasn't broken, there must have been egss on her. Keep treating her, hoover daily. It's going to take a while!
