We have a (almost) 3 year old border collie bitch , who has been the greatest delight of our family. Since my partner left we have been seriously considering getting another border collie puppy. We would get from the same breeder and obviously I will stay home from work for a week/ 10 days to manage the initial introductions ...
After this I am looking for puppy care for two days a week - whilst the older dog goes out with her dog walker, this obviously won't be possible for the second dog for quite a while.anyone had experience of this ?
And andy general Advice re introducing a puppy to an established dog ? Obviously making a big fuss of our existing dog p, feeding her first and making sure she knows the puppy is not taking her place... But any other experiences ?
