Help with puppy pooing at night

Well, she's about ten months now, good during the day.

However, if she's not crated she poos in the house at night! If she is crated she starts to cry at about 6am - not fun.

At present, she and the big dog are fed at about 7.30 am after their walk and about 4.30pm. They go out and poo at about 10.30ish.

Any ideas for a change that might help..?

Do you go out with her when she does her last poo and are you sure she is actually pooping then not just going out and doing nothing.
My little ddog gets fed once in the morning at about 11:00am and then again at about 8:00/9:00pm he doesn't like to eat any earlier. He eats wet food but also has alittle dry down that he will pick at through the day if he gets peckish. He never poos in the house at night goes out around 10:30/11:00 before bed then out in the morning around 9:00/10:00.
I'd watch her make sure she's actually pooping when you put her out before bed.

Yes, I watch, as she won't go out without me!

Do you think it's about 6am that she's pooing when not crated?

What food is she on?

Could be, sometimes earlier! She's on James Wellbeloved.

She's happy to snuggle in bed if allowed, no pooing then, but DH won't have it.

Erm... I'm stumped! Could she be cold?

I wondered that, she is a tiny thing and it's the coldest time of day...? Anyway, she's pooed and peed at nine and now, so will see how it goes tonight...

Well, apparently all I had to do was post the question on MN: she's now had four poo free nights uncaged! Grin

Fingers crossed......
