Help me choose a new dog bed

I've decided to splash out on a new bed for my 2 year old Toller. He's currently got a cheapo wraparound from pets at home but you can't wash the cover separately and the filling has got all bunched up so it doesn't feel v comfy any more

I've been eyeing up these Orvis beds which are mega expensive but I'm hoping it would last substantially longer. My main dilemma now is which colour? He has a lovely ginger coat so which would suit him best?

I bought a basic hard plastic deep dog basket and some big memory foam offcuts from amazon. I have two of these on top of each other and inside a waterproof cover. On top of that I've got a washable fleece cover which is nice and warm. This gets washed once a week, dries really quickly and dog loves it. This is in her 'day' bed.

At night she sleeps in her crate and we have memory foam mattresses in there and cushions she uses as pillows. She's so spoiled Grin

I don't know if you live near or have access to a Costco, but I got my old dog a very similar bed to the orvis one from there for £45. It was orthopaedic & had a cooling memory foam top layer & the cover zipped off for washing. Perfect.

I bought a bed from tuffies after seeing it recommended on here. Not cheap but I'm sure it will last for years - it's fairly substantial. I bought extra covers. My dog loves it as there's a ridge all around that she can rest her head on, or snuggle down. I was particularly impressed when a lardy lab came to stay, tried to lie on the bed but was far too big and got beached, I was worried the sides would collapse, but it's still retained its shape.
