Mast Cell Tumours

Our 7yo lab has just had one of these removed from her hind leg and we're waiting for the grading to come back. The vet has explained several options but obviously we need to wait to know what we're dealing with. I'd be interested to hear of anyone's experiences with this type of thing, it's a first for us and I'm trying not to frighten myself but at the back of my mind are lots of gloomy thoughts.

My (then) 10yr old EBT had 3 removed from one of her back legs last year. It was a scary time but she is doing ok at the moment and didn't need any follow up treatment. I just make sure I check her for lumps regularly. Hope your test results turn out ok.
