Giant Dog Bed

Seeking advice!

My lab is nearly 6 months old but he is already very big in stature. He has two dog beds at the moment ( one for large puppies and one for large dogs). He uses both but has begun sneaking onto my bed when he can get away with it. He is always removed and placed into his bed. I want to get him another bed that he can really stretch out on instead of one where he needs to curl up. It will need to be a giant bed rather than just large as he is already over a metre long when he lies down. He is very athletic and lanky- long legs.

I've looked at all sorts - mattresses, memory foam, beanbags, dog couches etc.

Does anyone have a giant dog bed that they rate? Or an alternative suggestion? I want him to be comfy and happy. I could add to the spec but what do you rate? I've looked at SO many now that I've lost track and just need to get one ordered so he's happier.

We have two Caucasian Ovcharkas and a Fila Brasiliero and they sleep on their own king sized memory foam mattress at the bottom of our bed. I have yet to find anything which works better for giant dogs. We're not in the UK but there does seem to be a lack of stuff for the bigger beasties.

Oh, and I have a waterproof mattress protector and then brushed cotton sheets for over the top so that they're easy to wash.

We got our lab a wolfybed for his 2nd birthday. Was great to start with, and the covers wash well but the stuffing has went all lumpy, so don't recommend and will watch this thread with interest.

XL cosy cave? My whippet has a large but I've seen the XL and they are huge!

I was looking at dog caves the other day. They look fab.

I bought the XL Cosy Cave and it is indeed HUGE. Too big for me, so I'm trying to work out if I can make it a bit smaller. A friend's dog has managed to chew it as well, so it needs a bit of a patch up

I have a giant breed and orvis do some XL beds which are big enough for him and he is substantially bigger than any lab he has met.........he isn't as big as motherallhellbeasts dogs though!
