I am posting on behave of a friend who has a family of four dogs.

The oldest is a neutered male, Tintin, about 14 years old. Then there is a female, Milki, that is a four years old and their offspring, an unneutered male, Gordo, and a female, both about two years old. Lately Milki and Gordo have been attacking Tintin, whose had to be taken to the vet twice in the last few days. The vet says that they want to get him out of the pack because of his age. Obviously my friend needs a solution to this problem, any ideas?

Did the vet not suggest neutering the young unneutered male?

Gordo is being neutered today, will that be enough? As Milki initiated at least one of the attacks...

Keep the dogs separated. And take them out separately if neccesary. If they are going to keep all the dogs, use babygates, muzzles, separate feeding etc. It can become a welfare issue. We've been to one of those places. It's very hard.

Thank you Easy, that is what we discussed yesterday, but I was hoping for a miracle. I can't imagine her rehousing any of her dogs, but it is going to be very hard.
