I posted last month about this box with a code for a £7.49 box. Imagine my surprise to wake up today to a charge for £14.99 for Junes box. Even though you select a 'one off box' they subscribe you to their site and unless you email by the 1st of the month will take the money.

They refuse to refund for the month they have taken and I have now taken this up with my bank to get a refund that way.
Very very poor service indeed.

There are better pet boxes out there. Don't use this one.

This is pretty standard I think - in fact I don't know any companies that WON'T sign you up for their product after the free / reduced price trial ends. Annoying, but there you go.

Out of interest, were the contents of the box worth £7.49? Or even the full price?

When you sign up it's stated everywhere that you are signing up for a 'one off' box. Only recently has a banner been added now saying it's a subscription.
The original advert on Facebook was something like 'try a one off box half price'. Very misleading.

As for the content, at a stretch worth £7.49, not a chance worth full price. We had a Kong Bounzer which I've found on sale in a few places for £4. A pack of dog soup which was probably a quid, a pack of cheap bones and a box of freshening bone mints. The soup and bones were both burst in the box. They tell me they are refunding that box because of the damaged goods.. we'll see.

Also dont they can't use this clause in their T&C's either

We reserve the right to revoke your membership for any reason at any time including as a result of a violation of these Terms or the Privacy Policy, without notice. Where we revoke your membership, this will not affect current orders which we have acknowledged unless we revoke as a result of your breach of these Terms or the Privacy Policy or any other guidelines or rules, in which case we may terminate all existing orders and will not be obliged to make any refund

So they are saying that they can revoke membership for any reason and not send the box you've paid for already....Hmm. Might dig further into this one as it seems an unfair clause to me.
