Big dog bed dilemma

We have a 135lb Rhodesian Ridgeback who is 9 years old and starting to get a bit stiff. I'm really struggling to find a decent quality dog bed that has bolsters and will fit him. He looks utterly ridiculous in his extra large dog basket so will need something over 110cm in length. The only ones I can find are from Orvis and are outrageously expensive. I will fork over the £300for a dog bed if I have to but I'd prefer not!

Would this be big enough? www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/dogs/dog_beds_baskets/orthopaedic_dog_beds/206847

We have it in the biggest size - and it is BIG! It's worn incredibly well, and her old joints are definitely less creaky Grin

Yup! The whole thing zips off, dries quickly too Smile

How about the GRWE Big Memory Foam Bed from Charley Chau?

Still pricey but less than Orvis ones and I've heard a lot of great things about it from owners of big dogs.

My parents used a adult mattress for their wolfhounds. Didn't bother with special dog beds as they weren't big enough.
