DH is away and Murphy is pining...

He's been sat at the window since 6.15pm waiting for him to pull on the drive and he's away with work for 2 days. Poor Murphy (he was 1 last week)isn't used to this at all and this is the first time DH hasn't come home. He's pacing, won't eat his tea. Every time the phone rings he jumps hopefully to the window (DH normally calls before he gets home).

Can't see DD and I getting much sleep for 2 nights. Might have to put the phone on speaker when he eventually calls.

He's currently lying on dh's side of the bed, I'm a soft touch. He seems content to be there but is still looking for cars on the drive bless him
